Structural Pavilion Design Analysis | BA(hons)
This is a simply supported structure. Two thirds of the column is in tension. All of the fixed joints are welded and bolted, the fixed joints cause the form to deform unevenly. The forced of the structure exerts is due to the mass of the structure and this forces is transferred to the ground through the glulam beams columns and foundations then to the ground. The prevailing wind in England is southwest so the curved section faces the southwest to direct the wind over the structure, curved geometry helps prevent the lateral force exerted on the structure. Chevron tension bracing resists the lateral load. and due to this lateral load the vertical reaction are opposing and equal this creates a moment on the pinned joint.

Art Gallery Design | BA(hons)
This proposed Art gallery exhibits works from local artist with individualized spaces dedicated to how each artist wanted to display their art. It's organic form was dictated by the existing canopy and light studies conducted on the site. Lying on a tributary in Canterbury on the river Stour the buildings offers itself to the surrounding organic landscape.

Moller House Model | BA(hons)
Through the analysis of this Adolf Loos Moller House I began to understand floor levels and scale. The brief was to model a house as realistically as possible from its orthographic drawings as well as our own research. The villa is placed on the south facing slopes of Viennese suburbs in district 19 Starkfriedgasse, Vienna, Austria. Adolf Loos main ideas involved creating defined difference between public and private space by using what he called raumplan, textures and geometry. The Moller house, fully constructed in 1927 represents a new avant gard in modernism.
